I'm not going to say Spring is here, but it is definitely in the air. If I, even for a moment, begin to think winter is over, it will sure as hell snow tomorrow. For today, I'm enjoying the +11*C and the sunshine. We had our first beef calf today, so calving should be under way shortly.
Kelly has been in Nampa, Idaho at a PBR event this last week, so Jessie and I have been manning the fort by ourselves. We've become accustomed to being modern day grass widows and can handle pretty much anything that comes our way. It may mean Honey Nut Cheerios for supper because we are too tired to cook, but we survive. It is great that Jessie is old enough to ride along in the tractor and open gates. She can be a lot of help when she wants to be.
That is all I know for now. I'm heading back out to soak up the sun and check cows. Hope you have a great day.
